RE: International Aid to Sichuan and Myanmar
In response to the devastating effects of the earthquake in Sichuan, China and the cyclones in Myanmar, National Asian Deaf Congress (NADC) is prepared to move forward with a humanitarian effort of sending financial donations to Deaf victims and survivors. There are reports that a School for the Deaf in Sichuan collapsed with its students inside the building. The staggering numbers of victims reported includes an unconfirmed number of Deaf individuals. Many of our members have family and friends whom we cannot reach. Therefore, the need for accessible and humanitarian assistance is greatly needed.
Please join us in assisting our international members and families in Asia. Thank you!
Currently, all donations will be given directly to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of People's Republic of China until reliable sources for accepting and distributing donations are identified for Myanmar.
The National Asian Deaf Congress never charges for administration fees from donations.
This means that 100% of your donation goes to the victims.
