 Hello and Greetings,
On behalf of past and present NADC Executive Boards, it is with profound sadness I announce that Dr. Martin Hiraga, our former NADC Secretary (2000-2004, 2004 - 2007), has just been placed in a hospice due to Leukemia. Dr. Hiraga is not expected to live longer than 3 weeks.
*Historically, NADC was formed to accomplish a dream of strengthening our Asian Deaf Community in the United States. One thing that kept this dream alive is passion by individuals such as Dr. Hiraga, who worked tirelessly for many years to improve the professional field of Interpreting, increase communication access and educate the Deaf Community about our Asian Deaf Community.
His wisdom, courage and sense of humor are priceless treasures to all of us.

NADC CONFERENCE BIDS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED |
Bids to host a future NADC Conference are now being accepted. Prior to the 2011 NADC Conference at New York, all interested Chapters and Affiliates are invited to submit a bid to host the 2014 NADC Conference and the 2017 NADC Conference.
